We believe in using business as a force for good supporting initiatives that strengthen communities, reduce waste, and create lasting social value.
Through our partnership with Rhodium, Workplace is proud to support The Felix Project, one of the UK’s leading food redistribution charities. Earlier this month, we contributed to Rhodium’s fundraising campaign ahead of their “24hr Spin” event on 13th November held at Park Modern, one of the sites we proudly service.
The Felix Project plays a vital role in addressing food insecurity and food waste across London. Each year, millions of tonnes of good-to-eat food are wasted, while many families struggle to access nutritious meals. By rescuing surplus food from suppliers and redistributing it to schools, charities, and community groups, The Felix Project ensures that good food reaches those who need it most.
A shared commitment to community and sustainability
This year marks an exciting milestone for The Felix Project as it joins forces with FareShare, the UK’s largest food redistribution network. Together, they aim to tackle food waste and hunger on a national scale rescuing more food, reaching more people, and amplifying their environmental and social impact.
The Felix Project’s innovation, community-driven approach, and impact in London perfectly align with Workplace’s B Corp values and our ongoing commitment to supporting initiatives that benefit both people and the planet
Proud to play a part
Our support for The Felix Project, alongside our partners at Rhodium, reflects Workplace’s dedication to building meaningful connections within the communities we serve. Small actions, when combined, can lead to significant impact and we’re proud to contribute to a cause that truly makes a difference.
“We’re inspired by The Felix Project’s mission and the dedication of everyone involved in the 24hr Spin event. Supporting their work is a reminder that sustainability is not just about the environment it’s about people, compassion, and shared purpose.”— Stefana Ivan Operations Director of Workplace
