Coming Together for Good: Supporting Families in Romania

This belief recently came to life through one of our wonderful directors, Stefana, who led a heartfelt initiative to support underprivileged families and children in Romania. Thanks to her compassion, leadership, and the strength of her network, a small act of kindness turned into something truly impactful and we’re proud to have been part of it.

To help bring the initiative to life, Stefana reached out to her wider network, inviting others to lend their support. The response was heartfelt and generous.

We were honoured when Stefana shared the opportunity with us at Workplace, and we were proud to donate £100 towards the purchase of supplies.

It may seem like a small contribution, but it’s a reflection of who we are a company that supports our people and the causes that matter to them.

What makes this initiative especially powerful is that it goes far beyond one-time support. Asociația MGM is committed to building long-term, positive change for vulnerable families in rural Romania. Their work includes:

• Educational support for children in rural areas, helping them continue their learning and unlock future opportunities

• Humanitarian, material, and financial aid for disadvantaged families, ensuring their most basic needs are met

• Creating a self-sustaining framework for families to regain independence and build stability over time

• Providing emotional and spiritual counselling for those facing hardship, offering comfort, encouragement, and human connection

• This isn’t just about meeting immediate needs it’s about building a foundation for hope, dignity, and a better future.
