Thank You! - Excellence Award August 2021
We believe in celebrating and recognising best practice and the achievements of our team throughout the whole workforce giving us the chance to say thank you.
This month we are acknowledging the hard work and dedication of Abou Diomande. Abou normally works at Hertz House, Uxbridge but as he is part of the evening cleaning team he has been on furlough from the start of the pandemic.
His Account Manager Lynne Van Loggerenberg has been able to call upon him on numerous occasions to assist with cover cleaning positions and he has always obliged, nothing is too much for him. He started working for WORKPLACE on a 6-week temporary contract in July 2020, but has since worked weekend shifts at Wexham Park Golf club as well as covering for the daytime Housekeeper at Hertz when she was unexpectedly taken ill.
Lynne wanted to acknowledge his dedication and support by saying, “Abou really does go above and beyond to assist us wherever I need cover. He is definitely an asset to my team and really deserves to be recognised and rewarded for his willingness to assist."
Operations Director Martin Wells goes on to say [that] "...working during the pandemic has been a challenge at the best of times! Abou's professionalism and dedication has not gone without notice!”
